1974: Open Door - The 73 Club

Open Door was a programme in which the BBC handed over air time to the public, running for ten years from 1973-1983.

In this episode, the 73 Club in Glasgow offer their solution to the question: Can we ever make our society less divided?

They say the answer lies in breaking down social barriers between boys from totally different backgrounds. Then, maybe, the next generation can solve the problem.

This programme was originally broadcast on BBC Two, Monday 11 March, 1974.
