Never mind winning a trophy, Ange did something so-called elite managers in Jose and Conte failed to do, he instilled belief into his players, he stood by them, constantly talked them up and told them they were winners.

Ange, you have made this old fella very very happy. You have to suffer to see the glory. And boy have we suffered over the years. Daniel Levy, just back him now, don't do anything stupid! Ange Postecoglou, just a tad more pragmatism in the league. We'll be just fine. Go celebrate1

Tottenham Hotspur captain Heung Min-Son once said that he wouldn't call himself a legend until he won a trophy with the club. After winning the Europa League last night, Son spoke to TNT Sports:

"Let's say, I'm a legend. Why not? Only today!

"17 years nobody has done it with such amazing players and today is the day and I will say I'm a legend of this club, let's enjoy and celebrate.

"It feels amazing, this is what I've always dreamed for and today is the day the dream came true. I am so happy, happiest man in the world.

"We always stuck together despite injuries and the young players always stepped up and I always give them some good advice and always wanted to talk positive and I am very lucky to have such an amazing group of players with me and that is why we had a good tournament.

  • Arteta on Tottenham's 'beautiful moment'published at 10:33 British Summer Time 22 May

Southampton v Arsenal (Sun, 16:00 BST)

    Arsenal

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta spoke to the media earlier today ahead of Sunday's final game of the season at Southampton.

The Gunners boss was asked about north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur winning the Europa League last night and if he believed they had had a more successful season than Arsenal:

"I don't like to compare with other teams. I need to analyse my team, that's my job."

Arteta was also asked if he could relate to the rollercoaster of emotions that Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou must have gone through this season and the magnitude of the achievement:

"Just congratulate them. I think they are champions, and when you get to that, you have to do a lot of things right. I think they have gone through a season with again a lot of obstacles and difficulties and they have helped them at the end to manage a beautiful moment.

"So you have to congratulate. This is a sport and I am sure they have done everything in their hands to achieve it and they are very happy."
