1985: Urdu synthpop sibling duo in spotlight

Birmingham teenage sister and brother duo Nermin Niazi and Feisal Mosleh were interviewed on Asian Magazine about their disco album in 1985.

While the British-Pakistani siblings' 1984 album Disco Se Aagay did not chart upon its release, it has been rediscovered in recent years.

Influential music website Pitchfork called it "a lost classic of new wave" when it was reissued in 2021.

According to the Guardian, it was the duo's only album as Feisal went on to start a new life in the US while Nermin pursued a career in the Metropolitan Police in London.
