New Live Lessons for 2025/2026

Live Lessons

We’re planning eight new Live Lessons for primary schools, broadcasting from September 2025.

All lessons will be curriculum-linked for 7-11 year olds and feature fun learning activities they can in with in real time. Each one will be accompanied by a teacher guide and able activity sheets which can be used in the classroom.

500 Words 2024 – Live Lesson

Inspire your students to write their own 500 Words story in this Live Lesson featuring famous authors Charlie Higson, sca Simon and Children's Laureate Frank Cottrell-Boyce.

We delve into how a simple everyday object can fuel creativity, inspire story ideas, and help develop memorable characters.

By the end of the lesson, your class will be brimming with ideas, ready to craft their own 500 Words story and submit it to the competition!

Anti-Bullying Week 2024 – Live Lesson

We're choosing respect in this Anti-Bullying Week Live Lesson.

Working in partnership with the Anti-Bullying Alliance, this interactive programme for primary schools aims to inspire children to handle disagreements constructively, without turning to bullying.

Quentin Blake’s Box of Treasures – Live Lesson

In this Live Lesson your class will step into the shoes of illustrators, ready to create their very own Zagazoo character, inspired by the work of world-famous author and illustrator Quentin Blake.

Safer Internet Day 2025 – Live Lesson

Help Joel Mawhinney and Maddie Moate outsmart digital tricksters as we step into the virtual world of Scam Smashers!

Players must complete a series of curriculum-linked activities to make it safely to the end of the game. Can we spot the scams and outsmart the digital tricksters to protect our personal information?

Safer Internet Day is co-ordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre in partnership with Childnet.

World Book Day 2025 – Live Lesson

British Science Week 2025 – Space Live Lesson

Welcome to astronaut training school with Tim Peake where we find out what it takes to become an astronaut and how to prepare for life on board the International Space Station.

This KS2 interactive lesson is inspired by the official British Science Week theme of ‘change and adapt'.

British Science Week is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths.

Earth Day 2025 – Live Lesson

In this lesson hosted by Naomi Wilkinson and Lizzie Daly, we follow the stages of the water cycle, from evaporation to precipitation as we go on a virtual school trip deep into the Rainforest Biome at the Eden Project.
