This is much better by Northern Ireland.

First, Shea Charles is brought down as he charged forward.

Then, in the next phase of play, Dion Charles looks to play in Calum Marshall but his is loose.

Just mentioning Charles, there are three of them on the pitch with Pierce in goal, Shea in midfield and Dion up front.

There are also two Petrovs in Bulgarias team, with Simeon and Hristivan, and there are three Minchevs.

Martin starts, while Georgi and Ivan are on the bench.

Bulgaria have started like they did in the game out there. They're very confident on the ball and can it about but, like Northern Ireland, once they get to the 18-yard box things tend to fall apart.

It's a deep delivery by Charles and it's easily claimed by Dimitar Mitov.

That's much better from Northern Ireland.

Callum Marshall plays in a neat ball for Shea Charles down the line.

He knocks it past his man and he's wipes out by Zhivko Atanasov.

I've no idea how that's not a booking, but here we are.

It's right outside the area, what can the hosts do here?

Bulgaria are seeing more of the ball in the early stages, knocking it about at the back.

Eoin Toal gives away an early free-kick on the halfway line as both teams suss each other out.

There's plenty of noise. Such a nice contrast to Saturday.

I saw Brodie Spencer playing at Hampden Park that night and thought he was really good during that brilliant win for Northern Ireland. Brodie has good energy and has a little bit of bite in his tackles.

It's not unexpected the changes Michael O'Neill has made.

If we can play as well as we did in the first half against Belarus on Saturday and possibly get a goal I think the game is there for the taking.

It's perhaps no surprise to see Michael O'Neill roll the dice up front after the number of chances his side missed in the 0-0 draw with Belarus on Saturday.

Still, after Jamie Reid started on the past five occasions he was available, it's a big opportunity for Dion Charles back in the starting side.

The 29-year-old Bolton man has six goals in 12 for his club this season, but just the three across a 25-cap international career.

Can he improve on that tonight?

In Saturday's goalless draw with Belarus, Northern Ireland started five players under the age of 21 or under for the first time since they faced Italy in October 2011.

Pierce Charles, Callum Marshall, Shea Charles, Isaac Price and Conor Bradley were the five who started on Saturday.
