Tottenham Hotspur

A final word from Ange Postecoglou today, who its a deadline day g is unlikely: "I think so [that Tottenham are done for the window]. Unless something surprising jumps out at us in the last hours, I think that's it for us.

"If nothing else happens then I think it's been another positive window for us. You go into every window and come out in a stronger sense and I certainly feel that. [Our gs] are going to be really good contributors for us."

Wolves

Wolves boss Gary O'Neil on goalkeeper Jose Sa, following the g of Sam Johnstone: "From my point of view, Jose will stay and fight out for a shirt that's been his for a long time but of course the player has his own views and wishes. Our window shuts today, and the Saudi window Monday but It would be foolish of me to speak for players but in this moment I believe Jose is keen to stay and fight."

Daniel Podence is close to a £5m move from Wolves to Saudi side Al-Shabab.

The forward, who spent last season on loan at Olympiakos, is poised to leave Molineux with Wolves also including add-ons and a sell on clause in the deal.

Podence made 108 appearances, scoring 16 goals, for Wolves since ing from Olympiakos in 2020.

Boss Gary O'Neil said: "Daniel is getting close to leaving. We worked very hard with him, there were some good periods and some periods he wasn’t happy and went away on loan.

"He came back and worked his socks off but he has had an excellent offer for him and his family. Discussions have been on-going on what is best for him and the club.

"That one is looking like there may be something completed."

Striker Fabio Silva is also due to Las Palmas on a season-long loan deal.

Wolves

Wolves boss Gary O'Neil on g goalkeeper Sam Johnstone: "I'm really pleased. It's a good g. It gives us real good competition in that area of the pitch with Dan and Jose who have played games with us this season already. Sam adds quality and experience to that group.

"He'll be in the squad tomorrow, everything's been done in time and he's ready to go."

Wolves

Wolves boss Gary O'Neil with a transfer update regarding midfielder Andre from Fluminense: "It's close. I think everything has gone fine but there's a few boxes to tick but I don't see any problems occurring.

"The midfield is a very strong area of the pitch for us already with Joao [Gomes], Mario [Lemina] and Tommy [Doyle]. Andre is an excellent talent that will add to the group, and it will fall on my to find a structure to fit them all in."

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has also been asked about team news for their match against Chelsea on Sunday.

He has said Chadi Riad will be out for "several weeks" but that Rob Holding will be available for the game.

Oliver Glasner was in a good mood at Crystal Palace's training ground as he spoke to the media before the match with Chelsea.

The Palace boss confirmed that Marc Guehi will be staying at the club after continued interest in the England international from Newcastle.

The Eagles have already sold Joachim Andersen, Michael Olise and Jordan Ayew this window but Glasner says all of the noise around the club did not affect the mood at the club.

"When I compare, when I arrived in here in February the mood of the team and the club and compare it with the mood now, it’s completely two different levels."

"Maybe we lost some players that we didn't want to lose but that's part of football.

"We were well prepared. Maybe you could be critical with us that decisions could have been taken earlier but it is what it is.

"Sometimes in football things happen that you wish don't happen or wish happen earlier.

"We couldn't influence the rumours about Marc for example, it didn't influence us, the relationship between us and Marc and him and his teammates."

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner added on team news with new gs: "No new players will be available to play on Sunday but we trust in all of the players who are here. We have a competitive squad and the win against Norwich was important for their confidence."

Crystal Palace

The Palace boss has just been speaking ahead of their match against Chelsea on Sunday. He was first asked about the transfer window: "gs are no gift for the manager, sometimes it's necessary for club and team. Sorry I can't say about new gs right now. I think there will be gs before the end of the window."

Oliver Glasner has made it clear this summer that the club are trying to sign a left back.

The Eagles had Ryan Sessegnon training with the squad at the beginning of pre-season but decided against offering him a contract.

However, it looks as though Palace and Glasner have plans to bring in a player before the deadline to compete with Tyrick Mitchell as when asked about the position he said 'we're working on it'.

Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou confirmed Giovani Lo Celso and Sergio Reguilon are both looking to leave North London: “Both players are exploring options and I won’t get to involved. There is today and another window so fair to say they are exploring options.”

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta confirmed Gabriel Jesus will miss Saturday's game but is "progressing really well" and "we expect him to be with us again very soon."

Manchester City

There was no quiver of emotion in Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola's expression when asked if he would be having a quiet transfer deadline day.

"Yep," he replied, with a flat bat.

City have not been linked with any further gs after already bringing back former midfielder Ilkay Gundogan and adding Brazil winger Savinho to their squad in the summer window.

Pep Guardiola sounded a confident note that Ilkay Gundogan would be ready to make an instant return to the side for Saturday's match at West Ham, following his transfer back to the club after just one season at Barcelona: "He needs one minute, no more than that to settle. He's a top-class player and he knows the mechanics of what we try to do, what we try to live all together. We knew it and it has happened."

Ipswich Town

Here's what Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna has just had to say about Armando Broja: "There's been discussions with Armando, that's not a secret. It's not a secret that he's got an injury issue. The clubs are ongoing with discussions, it has to be the right thing for all parties.

"It has to be the right thing for us - that he can come and have a positive impact at a point in the season. It has to be the right thing for Armando, as it's a very important moment for his young career, and the right decision for Chelsea, so those parties are continuing to discuss.

"We will see what's right and hopefully the best resolution will be found by this evening."

Ipswich have restarted talks for a loan deal with Chelsea for striker Armando Broja.

The Tractor Boys are likely to seek improved to the loan with obligation to buy for £30million previously agreed last week.

That's because they discovered a foot injury in the medical which has led to increased caution around the deal.

But the injury isn't deemed serious and Broja will be back playing soon as reflected in his inclusion in Albania's squad over the international break.

It's an issue that needs carefully managing to see him return to full health.

In-form Middlesbrough striker Emmanuel Latte Lath, 25, is considered a possible alternative but the Championship club are highly reluctant to sell him.

Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola started with some bad team news - for City fans and fantasy football managers: "Rodri is much better, [Matteo] Kovacic as well, but Phil [Foden] still doesn't feel good, the rest are ok."
