What an absolutely brilliant four days of County Championship cricket we've just all been treated to.

Durham nicked the win over Nottinghamshire in dramatic fashion with just 10 balls remaining to end Notts' unbeaten record.

Gloucestershire won for the first time this season and for the first time on home soil for 970 days in a seesaw encounter with Kent.

Lancashire pushed Derbyshire all the way but couldn't find that elusive first victory of the campaign as the visitors held out to maintain their unbeaten start.

Not to mention wins for Surrey earlier today, as well as Somerset, Hampshire, Worcestershire, Glamorgan and Leicestershire who wrapped things up on day three.

Jack Morley has faced a lot of Jimmy Anderson and came through it.

It's been a terrific effort from Derbyshire - they have maintained their unbeaten record.

Derbyshire were never on top but they did really well to hold on.

Colin Ackermann came to the crease in the first over of a chase which was in tatters at 1-2.

But in typically unflustered fashion, the 34-year-old played a blinder, bringing up his 66th first-class fifty to guide his team home.

Cracking innings, cracking match. Durham take 22 points and will climb up to fourth in Division One.

The Championship leaders are beaten for the first time this season and pick up five points. Their advantage is cut to three points.

I said earlier on that this was nailed-on for a draw, but you just never know.

I really would not have imagined to be commentating on such a dramatic finish.

It was a run-fest, but suddenly after tea Durham found themselves with an opportunity to win.

Jack Morley works the second to last ball from Tom Hartley into the off side and they don't even bother with the final delivery of the match.

What an absolutely monumental effort from Derbyshire to force the draw. Anuj Dal faced 113 balls for his 13 runs, while Jack Morley saw off 36 for no score.

Lancashire tried to force the issue with a sporting declaration to leave Derbyshire with a chance and they came close to taking all 10 wickets but will remain near the foot of the Division Two table.

Derbyshire remain unbeaten with their fifth draw of the season (W1).

Colin Ackermann gets a leading edge and it loops over Haseeb Hameed and narrowly evades Lyndon James.
