Speaker 1: Oh, here we go!
Speaker 2: OK, guys. The specials.
Speaker 1: Looks good.
Speaker 2: So we’ve got sea bass with broccoli, feta cheese, mushroom Portobello and pineapple and ginger dressing. Finished with nice Romano pepper.
And the next one is pan-fried cod with bacon, potato, mushroom Portobello, white wine velouté.
Speaker 1: Nice. Is there any allergens in this dish?
Speaker 2: Both dishes, er, they're not suitable for dairy-free.
Speaker 1: OK.
Speaker 2: And then this one is not suitable for gluten-free… the cod.
Speaker 1: Oh, is it not gluten-free because of the flour it’s cooked with?
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1: Yeah, OK, I get that. Nice.
Speaker 3: Would it be possible to do this one dairy-free?
Speaker 2: Definitely, if you let me know before I start cooking, yeah.
Speaker 4: Is there any particular wine you’d recommend with this dish?
Speaker 5: Because of the feta in the sea bass I would recommend the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.
The acidity of the wine really cuts through the dairy in the dish, so it really makes it nicely balanced.
So if you'd like to try that now.
Speaker 1: Gooseberries, as well.
Speaker 4: It's lovely, yeah.
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's good.
It's coated in flour before it's cooked. So it should have a nice little texture.
I do like that. The saltiness of the bacon cuts through the fish as well.
Speaker 5: Mmm. Nicely cooked.
