Wales will host the Six Nations Women's Summer Series in July.

Aimed at accelerating the growth of future international talent, the competition features predominantly Under-20 players.

Each nation is also allowed to include up to five Under-23 players in their matchday squad.

The inaugural series was held in Parma, Italy last year, with 14 players going on to win senior caps in this year's senior Women's Six Nations.

They include Wales forwards Maisie Davies and Alaw Pyrs, with the pair starting the opening game against Scotland.

This year the competition will be staged at the Centre for Sporting Excellence in Ystrad Mynach, with matches on 5, 11 and 17 July.
