Why has Lance Stroll withdrawn from Spanish GP?
Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll has withdrawn from Sunday's 66-lap grand prix because of hand and wrist pain that will require surgery.
In a statement, the team said Stroll's medical consultant believes the pain is in relation to a procedure he had two years ago.
The Canadian fell off his bike before the start of the 2023 season and missed pre-season testing.
Because Stroll had taken part in qualifying Aston Martin cannot name a replacement for the race, therefore Fernando Alonso will be their only car competing on Sunday - meaning 19 drivers will start the race instead of 20.
What is the weather forecast for Barcelona?
Sunday's 66-lap race is set to be another warm day in Barcelona, with temperatures around 26C, zero chance of rain and a moderate breeze.
Goodbye Barcelona?

Madrid is set to the calendar from next year
The Spanish Grand Prix is set to move to Madrid next year, on a new 5.47km (3.399-mile) circuit around the Ifema exhibition centre between the Spanish capital and Barajas airport.
Formula 1 is still considering whether to stage another race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, which has been the home of the Spanish Grand Prix since 1991.
