Capoeira: Brazil’s oldest martial art

Capoeira is considered to be one of the symbols of Brazilian culture.

With millions of followers worldwide, capoeira is a blend of martial arts, acrobatics and dance choreography.

The cultures of the enslaved Africans and the indigenous Brazilians contributed to the art of capoeira, with a reflection that makes up contemporary Brazil.
