Gary sits in for this first May Bank Holiday and comedian, historian and author Al Murray chooses his Tracks Of My Years all this week. Plus there's the music quiz Ten To The Top.
Gary sits in for this first May Bank Holiday, and as we head towards the 80th anniversary of VE Day, comedian and war history enthusiast Al Murray - co-host of the podcast 'We Have Ways Of Making You Talk' - chooses his Tracks Of My Years.
First coming to widespread attention for his work with Harry Hill, Al become a bone fide national treasure with his 'Pub Landlord' character, who's still touring over 30 years since his first appearance.
In recent years, Al's become as well known for his history books, podcasts and TV shows, particularly those around World War II. Al co-hosts the podcast 'We Have Ways Of Making You Talk' with the historian James Holland, and the two even have a festival spin-off in Buckinghamshire, which this September is being staged for the fifth time.
Plus more Ten To The Top; Album and Record Of The Week, and another edition of Gary's music history feature 'De Ja Woo'.
