Car's crash into home captured on CCTV

CCTV footage has captured the moment a car drove through a junction and crashed into a house.

In the video, the vehicle could be seen going through the junction on Chipperfield Road, Bromford, Birmingham and crashing through a post before it hit the home.

The driver and a enger fled the scene and a police car turned up shortly afterwards, according to the footage.

West Midlands Police appealed for information about the crash that happened just after 12:00 BST on Monday.
