A man lost his tooth in the attack and his car was damaged

A man in his 50s suffered multiple injuries, including losing his tooth, after a road rage attack, police have said.

The incident occurred near Royal Wootton Bassett at about 16:30 GMT on 19 February on the A3102 at Skew Bridge.

Wiltshire Police said there was a exchange of words between the driver of a white Honda Civic and a white Scania lorry.

The HGV driver got out of the vehicle and allegedly punched the car driver several times in the face before smashing his windscreen.

A police spokesperson said: "The driver of the Honda Civic, a man in his 50s, suffered bruising and cuts to his face. He has since lost a tooth due to his injuries."

Anyone who saw what happened or has relevant dash cam footage is asked to police.
