Paramedics set to show players how to perform R

Paramedics are preparing to teach players at a League One football club how to perform R and use a defibrillator.
of Peterborough United's men and women’s teams and academy are due to attend a training sessions with of East of England Ambulance Service on Monday.
The club said it wanted to encourage people to learn R and the use of a defibrillator.
In December, Luton Town's Welsh international defender Tom Lockyer collapsed after a cardiac arrest during a Premier League match against Bournemouth.

The club, known as Posh, published details of the R session on its website.
"The East of England Ambulance Service and Peterborough United have ed forces to promote vital R skills," said the club.
"The aim of the partnership with Peterborough United and the Peterborough United Foundation is to encourage others to learn R and the use of a defibrillator."
Posh said it aimed to create "an army of lifesavers in Peterborough and across the East of England".

Record numbers researched R after Lockyer talked about collapsing during a game, a health charity said in February.
Lockyer had urged people to go to the British Heart Foundation (BHF) website and learn R in media interviews.
The BHF said staff had been "blown away" by the response.
Lockyer, 29, returned to individual training at Luton, who are now in the Championship, in September.
He said he was "technically dead" for nearly three minutes at Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium but had not ruled out playing again.
