Body found in search for missing teenager

Police said a body had been found in the Eildon Hills

A body has been found in the search for a missing teenage hillwalker in the Scottish Borders.

Police said formal identification had yet to take place but the family of Kamile Gimbutyte, also known as Rhian, had been informed.

A short statement said a body had been found in the Eildon Hills area and there did not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.

It added that a report would be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
