Fourth arrest over death of man found outside home

John Taylor was found seriously injured outside his home

A fourth person, a 19-year-old man, has been arrested over the death of a man who was found seriously injured outside his home in North Ayrshire.

John Taylor, 44, was found seriously injured in Pollock Crescent in Kilwinning at about 13:55 on Friday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two men, aged 26 and another 19-year-old, have previously been arrested and charged in connection with the death.

A 53-year-old man who was also arrested has been released pending further inquiries.

Detectives have set up a website to send information directly to them, which can be submitted anonymously.
