For the first time, BBC podcasts and audio are now available on both BBC.com and on the BBC app. While they remain available on other podcast platforms, a wide selection of the BBC's current podcasts and its archive are accessible here on the BBC website and on the BBC app. Longtime favourites are ing new additions to provide a comprehensive listening experience that reflects the breadth of the BBC's audio offerings from all genres.

What types of content will be available?
Over 1,000 current and archived English-language BBC podcasts, including hits like Global News Podcast, The Global Story and Infinite Monkey Cage, plus BBC Radio 4 and World Service stations.
How long are programmes available for?
Most of the BBC's programmes are available to listen to on demand. If you're listening to a series, check that all the episodes are currently available so that you don't miss out on any parts of the story.
Episode availability is clearly displayed both on the BBC website and on the BBC app.

Why are some radio programmes and podcasts not available?
Due to rights limitations, not all BBC content can be made available to international s. This includes BBC music radio stations as well as some podcasts. We endeavour to provide a comprehensive listening experience to our audience with hundreds of podcasts available. We will continually be adding more content.
While BBC World Service and Radio 4 remain available on bbc.com and app, are there plans to make other BBC radio stations available outside the UK?
Planning is underway to ensure the ongoing availability of BBC stations for listeners outside the UK following the closure of BBC Sounds in spring/early summer. This includes BBC music stations such as Radio 1, Radio 2, Radio 3, 6 Music, 1Xtra and Asian Network, as well as the BBC's stations from the nations and regions. Countries where demand for the BBC's audio services is highest will be prioritised.
BBC Sounds will not be closed outside the UK until these plans have been confirmed. We'll update this page when we have more details.
How can I search for specific audio content?
You can search for specific audio content using keywords, titles or contributors in the search bar at the top of the BBC app or BBC.com website.
Are there categories to help me find content?
Yes, you can explore content through categories such as News and History.
Can I audio content for offline listening?
Yes, ing audio podcasts is now ed in the latest version of the BBC mobile app.
To an episode, simply search for the podcast or browse via the homepage, categories, or schedules. On the podcast episode page, tap the '' option near the top of the screen.
To access your ed content:
- Go to More in the app menu (‘More’ is accessed via the app’s footer menu, visible at the bottom of your screen on Index pages.)
- Tap Saved Items
- Navigate to the s section
From there, you can play your ed podcasts by tapping the play icon, or remove them by swiping the individual podcast to the left.
Will I need to be signed into BBC to listen to Audio?
No, you don't need to be signed in to listen to audio. However, a BBC will be required to follow, save, or content.

Unfortunately, your subscribed and bookmarked content is not transferred automatically. You'll need to manually set up your subscriptions and bookmarks again. Please to your BBC and add it to your new "Follow" and "Saved" lists.
